Prof. Nana Ewusi-Mensah

As Director of Stepping Stone Christian School, I am honoured to lead an institution committed to educating for relevance and impact.

Since our founding in 2013, we have remained steadfast in building a model school that blends academic excellence, creativity, character formation, and cutting-edge technology.

With a dedicated team, thriving learners, and visionary parents, we are steadily advancing toward our 2030 vision: to be a model of transformative education in Ghana.

My background as an educational innovator, digital transformation strategist, and certified instructional designer fuels our mission to redesign learning experiences that empower every SSCS learner to thrive in a global, digital, and values-driven world.


Since I was appointed lecturer, I have worked towards building a professional reputation at both National and International levels.

In 2016, I won an African Young Scientist Fellowship Award organized by the Association of Commonwealth Universities to participate in the Climate Impacts Research Capacity and Leadership Enhancement in sub-Saharan Africa (CIRCLE) programme, an initiative of the United Kingdom's Department for International Development (DFID).


Prof. Nana Ewusi-Mensah has published several peer-reviewed papers in reputable journals and successfully supervised over 50 undergraduate students, several Mphil and Postdoctoral students from Ghana, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Mali, The Gambia, etc.

Prof. Nana Ewusi-Mensah is happily married to Mrs. Doris Ewusi-Mensah, a lovely and dear wife of his youth who is also the Head of School and Co-founder of Stepping Stone Christian School.

Stepping Stone Christian School is an accredited Grade A school with a unique academic program hinged on the upgraded Ghana Education Service curriculum and appropriate sections of the Cambridge International program to give learners an international perspective.


In 2020, Prof. Nana Ewusi-Mensah won the prestigious Ghana Industry CEO awards in Primary School Education. Akwaaba!
